Brigand Press and Peter Holland presented both his novel, Barbary Slave, and his uncle Alf's memoir, My Eight Year War. Complimentary wine, coffee and cake complemented a
cosy atmosphere in this 17th century English tearoom. Peter entered, dressed as a brigand. His comic role-play was followed by a talk explaining how Brigand came about, and short readings from both books. With plenty of conviviality and laughter, there were even a number of books sold .
